Guest Roma House is located in the heart of Prati delle Vittorie Neighborhood, nearby the Vatican City. It's a guesthouse/flat of 80 mq. composed by three rooms (2 double and 1 single) each one with a private bathroom inside and a living room. It's an historic building of the beginning of XX century (1929), when modern Roma has experienced its population growth. Known for its wide, sweeping avenues, elegant buildings, and modern European charm, Prati Vatican has a distinct personality and a style.
Often referred to as the “white-collar” neighborhood, Prati Vatican also doubles as a residential zone for upper-class Romans. Its organized grid layout and elegant “Art Nouveau” and “Umbertino” style give it a unique personality. During the weekday, Prati serves as Rome’s corporate hub, the fast-paced stomping ground for business-oriented professionals. In addition to the enormous Palazzo di Giustizia in Piazza Cavour that houses the Supreme Court, Prati’s two tribunal courts make it the hot spot for lawyers. When the sun goes down and the workweek comes to a close, businesses pump the breaks and the social scene comes alive. Wine bars, live music venues, and international and classic Roman restaurants are spread throughout the neighborhood and are mostly frequented by local Italians.
Hi there, I am Francesco, manager of Guest Roma House, an unstoppable traveler with an italian heart, born and raise in Rome. I am fascinated by other cultures, and I love to introduce other people to mine. I have visited extensively all Europe from Lisbon to Vladivostok, and U.S. but I have never had a favourite place. From east to west, in every city or village on which the sole of my feet treads, I have found something unique and fascinating. I like to read and enjoy good food and music, and I have always been fascinated by history, philosophy and art, both ancient and modern. Running and Football are my primary sports, like many of my fellow italians (even if you came from a very small country town, I bet I know that place thanks to the local football team - test me! ) If you choose to stay at my place, I would make sure you will have a comfortable and amazing experience, and I will offer you any assistance you might need to better discover all the famous and beautiful aspects of the italian life style.
Just outside my guesthouse you can find any kind of activities: restaurants, bars, supermarkets, pharmacies, grocery shops, bakery, ATM, banks, book stores... Among all the restaurans one of my favourite is Hostaria Giacomelli. it's there since the 50s. real "hostaria romana" 100% authentic. I am sure you won't get annoyed while you have a walk from my flat to San Pietro Square or the Vatican Museums. On the other side also the Olimpico Stadium is not so far away. This is where the two locals football teams play their internal games: Roma and SS Lazio. And also Rugby 6 Nations tournament and Tennis International Slam are played in the area. After the stadium Ponte Milvio is another place where you can spend time having a drink and enjoying the breathtaking view of roma by night.
