Giglio Apartment is one of three accomodations available to rent at Il Colle. The structure is surrounded by nature and immersed in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. Il Colle's origins date back to the year 1300 circa where it operated as a farm. The decor of the apartments reflects the rustic Tuscan look ensuring the cultural bagage of the location remains forever present. Il Colle boasts of a large swimming pool shared amongst its three apartments. A large field surrounds the pool enabling guests to relax in private. No seating rules are present, the space is yours to do as you please. The main pool has variable depths and therefore a parent and/or guardian should always be persent when children are swimming. A kids pool is also present. POOL OPEN 1st June - 1st October Giglio apartment offers its guests a front patio with tables, chairs, sun lounges and umbrella. The apartment also has a large terrace with mountain views. On the terrace, guests will find a large BBQ and a outdoor eating area equipped with table, chairs and umbrella. Wood for the BBQ can be provided at no extra cost. The apartment is fully equipped with all necessary utilities (fridge, dishwasher, cutlery, pots and pans). The geographical location of Il Colle offers guests the ideal balance between a countryside retreat and a city escape experience. Situated 40km away from Florence with a train station only 6km away, Il Colle's guests often travel into Florence for the day before returning to relax poolside in the evening. Free wifi and free parking are provided to all our guests. The Mugello area has plenty to offer. From the famous racetrack to exquisite restaurants and breath-taking views. Surrounded by mountains and woods, the closest thing to a neighbor is the house on the other side of the valley! We are a 10 minute drive to a town called Dicomano which has everything you need to fuel your stay at the apartment. There are also train and bus stations that take you in the heart of Florence in a 40 minutes ride.
