Enjoy the warm atmosphere and all comforts of the "La Buschera".
Placed in the city center, inside an internal courtyard, you will find the openspace, totally renewed in 2023 with dedicated kitchen, bathroom with shower and queen size bed.
The mini-house is in Bra, elected capital of Roero region, and few minutes far from the Langhe area with its famous vineyards and beautiful landscapes.
You will easily reach Alba (15km) or Torino (50km) by train. The railway station is 2 minutes walking.
The openspace is fully independent, located at the first floor with access through an outside stairs.
It was born as a woodshed ("Buschera") which has been finely renewed. The tiny house has a kitchen area, a bathroom with toilet and a living room with a sofa which can be easily open and become a comfortable queen size bed.
You will also find a desk with internet connection, perfect for smart-working if needed.
On the front side there is a a large terrace overlooking the internal courtyard with a nice table for a romantic dinner.
A foldable baby cot will be available, if needed.
Beatrice and I renewed the house in 2023. We did it to host friends and parents when visiting us. Later, we decided to share the house also with those who want to visit Bra and its wonderful territory.
Every two years, in September, Bra is colored and comes alive with the long-awaited Cheese gastronomic event, where the best cheese artisans from all over the world meet to present and let their products be tasted, dealing with dairy production.
But in Bra and its surroundings there is much more!
As soon as you arrive in Bra, make a stop for taste at Pasticceria Converso, one of the most historic in the city and in Italy, with sweet and savory pastries not to be missed. Just behind the pastry shop, start walking up towards one of the narrow streets uphill, to reach one of the most important places in Bra, the Zizzola.
On the highest hill, Monteguglielmo, you can find the characteristic octagonal building, which has become the symbol of the city.
Bra is very rich in churches, palaces and historic buildings which make it one of the most prestigious centers of Piedmontese Baroque. Examples are the City Palace which recalls the Carignano Palace in Turin, and the Gothic Palazzo Taverna, home to the Museum of History and Art.
Pollenzo is a small town less than 5 km far from Bra. It has Roman origins and thanks to an important excavation campaign in search of evidence of ancient Pollentia that began in 1958, its priceless beauty has been brought to light.
Today the architectural complex houses the headquarters of the University of Gastronomic Sciences, the Wine Bank, a restaurant and a 4-star hotel.
If you have more days available, you must see the heart of Roero, a less famous hilly area than the Langhe, but of equal beauty: you will be amazed by the castles, the culinary experiences and the cellars for excellent wines tastings.
Last but certainly not least, there is the Langhe, full of colorful churches and villages perched on the hills, enchanting views, unforgettable walks.
