Torre delle Ore Attic is the perfect solution for your stay in Lucca. Alluring and quiet, the attic is easy to access as it is only on the second floor of a typical Lucchese building: there are only 33 steps (with two flights of 12 steps and two passages of 3 and 6 steps respectively) to easily reach the attic, which, being on the top floor and with no neighbours, enjoys the utmost silence and privacy. The attic has just been renovated, so all the fixtures, furnishings and fittings are practically new. Passing through the entrance hall, cleverly lit by lights recessed into the wall, one enters the living area, which includes a large and fully equipped kitchenette overlooking a characteristic courtyard. The living room, also with elegant and modern lighting, includes a comfortable sofa bed for two additional guests and boasts a delightful little balcony, from which one can admire the view over the roofs of Lucca, and which is ideal for breakfast or a romantic evening aperitif: the small terrace is in fact equipped with a comfortable folding table. There is, of course, a 50-inch OLED smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube, and ultra-fast WiFi with FTTH fibre optics connection. The large, modern designer bathroom has an original circular shower and features a high ceiling with a skylight from which you can admire the iconic monument of Lucca that gives its name to the attic: the Torre delle Ore (Clock Tower). In the bathroom you will also find the eco-friendly kit “Notte” (“Night”) with shampoo, shower gel and body lotion. "Notte" is the first courtesy toiletry set not tested on animals, made in Italy with recycled and recyclable materials and which plants trees to help the environment. Also called "the narrowest street in Lucca", Chiasso Barletti offers all the services you need for your stay: shops, bars, newsagents, groceries, everything is at hand. The location is also ideal for visiting Lucca, as it is right in the centre and all the city's main tourist attractions are just a few minutes' walk away: the Cathedral of San Martino (500m), the church of San Michele (110m), Piazza Anfiteatro (450m), the Guinigi Tower (350m), the Renaissance walls (500m). A curiosity for history buffs: it was in Chiasso Barletti that the meeting of the first triumvirate between Julius Caesar, Pompey and Marcus Licinius Crassus took place in 56 B.C., where Caesar had his proconsulate in Gaul extended for another five years.
