Welcome! Introducing the apartment "Ortamore". You will be able to stay in a cozy studio apartment used, way back in the 1600s, as the home of the janitor of the ancient palace. It is therefore characterized by a part with exposed brick arches (in the bathroom room) and small characteristic windows. The apartment is divided into two parts: - A first and single room with a kitchen, a duble bed, a folding bed for a child, utensils and appliances. - An elegant bathroom with exposed brickwork. The place is also complete with every comfort, including air conditioning, smart TV and free wi-fi. If interested, it is possible to apply for a car parking card (which payment will be made during check-in).
We have been running a historic specialty food store in Orta San Giulio for over 35 years. Since 2024 I have fulfilled my dream of putting at the disposal of my customers and tourists from all over the world this lovely little studio apartment, whose name "Ortamore" represents my love for Orta. My staff and I look forward to welcoming you and will work to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Situated in a quiet building, Ortamore's location is perfect for enjoying in harmony the picturesque and romantic old town, protagonist of many films and documentaries. You will therefore find yourself immersed in the charming atmosphere of the island of San Giulio, as the apartment is literally 10 meters from the main square of Orta.
