Podere La Casaccia is an ancient country estate where it's still possible to see the signs of the past rural tradition. Sited on the Alto Casentino hills, above the area where the river Arno flows, La Casaccia is surrounded by the terrific views of the Medieval castles of Poppi and Romena, and the Casentino Forests National Park, that includes a big beautiful area from the Mount Falterona to the Verna Sanctuary. The Podere is around 20 hectares among forest, fruit trees, patato and vegetables plantations. The housing complex consists of five buildings and the Borghini family, the owner of the estate, lives in one of them. The geographical position, away from traffic and city noise, makes this place very comfortable and quiet. At the same time, it is very easy to reach it by car from the main towns in the area.
