I love Animals, traveling, good food, wine, nature, beauty and sensible, polite and kind people… After years of working in the field of fashion, first in Milan and then in Bologna, at the end of 2008 I started to dedicate myself to hospitality. Since childhood, and thanks to my parents, I have been privileged to have been able to travel the world, and live far away and experience many wonderful cultures. The quality and intensity of the journeys I have experienced up to now, I believe have allowed me to understand and satisfy the expectations of my guests and to offer them simply … what I would expect myself. Pozzo di Mezzo b & b is a guest house made from the reclaimed tiles and stones of an old Emiliana farmhouse: the finishing touches, the walls, the doors, the shutters and the gates give the residence a strong handcrafted feel. Pozzo di Mezzo b & b it is an ideal place for those searching for hospitality which combines the intimate, private and welcoming atmosphere typical of a b&b with the discrete, attentive and punctual professionalism of a hotel. The 3 rooms, all with independent entrance with access from the garden, have private bathroom with towels, Ortigia toiletries, vanity set, shower cup, shaving set, slippers, hairdryers, air conditioning with autonomous temperature control, TV, wifi connection, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle. My splendid collaborator Gloria carries out the housekeeping on a daily basis. Rooms are sanitized with certified products. Linens are washed by a specialized Laundry service. “Breakfast in your room” is included: You will find, in your room, Nespresso coffee, tea, herbal teas and prepackaged pastries. Guests can enjoy in total freedom the garden; at disposal, under the patio, the wine and beverage cooler for a fee. Ample free private parking area with video surveillance: return by car or pedestrian at any time in total autonomy, thanks to the automatic gate with access codes provided at check in. Riders e Cyclists friendly: At your disposal a shed for motorbikes and a wooden shed for bicycles equipped with an alarm system. Your 4-legged Friends are our welcome Guests; daily surcharge. 50% will be donated to the Elisabetta Franchi Onlus Foundation, which has always been active in the defense of Animal rights. Sleepers will be provided in the room and water bowls in the garden. In respect for other Guests and my kittens, they may relax in the garden but kept on a leash. Where conditions permit they may be let loose.

The b & b is located in the city of Bologna, 4 km from the historic center, is 5 minutes walk from restaurants, bars, cinema, grocery stores, tobacconist, newsagent, pharmacy and the bus which will take you into the most beautiful part of our Old Town.
