The olive grove that borders the structure allows me to produce a high quality natural extra virgin olive oil and to reunite with my family members to spend a few days among the olive trees.

SacroFanum is a villa with swimming pool, ideal for five people located in a panoramic position from which you can enjoy a stunning view over the Valdichiana and the nearby medieval village of Scrofiano. The villa is totally in Tuscan style, surrounded by olive groves and oak woods. The Villa is equipped with everything you need to stay and relax, a few kilometers away you can reach the Valdorcia, Chianti and the cities of Montepulciano, Cortona, Siena, Pienza and Florence. The villa consists of a double bedroom, a loft used as a single bedroom, a large living room with kitchenette, a bathroom with shower and a large olive garden with a panoramic swimming pool. The access is through a gate from which you can reach the private parking inside the property.

Scrofiano will be founded around X Century, and its name has longobard origin but many experts say that its origin is Roman (Sacro fanum = Sacred Wood). Only from the twelfth century some documents spoke about Scrofiano in relation to the presence of the family Cacciaconti, the nobles who were owners of all the castles in the area. Like other towns in the area, the municipality of Scrofiano was part of the Republic of Siena. The area is full of hiking trails where you can take long walks through the woods, vineyards, olive groves and streams that characterize the area. With about 20 minutes walking you can reach the "Church of the Soccorso" which is a Renaissance example of a peasant church that is located in a wood surrounded by two streams, in a suggestive unrepeatable setting. The area is lacking in public transport, it is advisable to be equipped with cars. The nearest station is Sinalunga which is about 5 km and is connected to the country by a shuttle service. The nearest airport is "The International Airport of Umbria which is about 80 Km from the Villa.
