Company information
Steinach Townhouse was completely renovated from 2019 to 2020, with the aim of preserving the old and combining it with the new. The owners have therefore left and restored the historic doors, original floors and walls, which provide a unique and elegant touch.
The owners' passion for interior design and art has made the suites an ideal retreat for those who love places that tell a story and for those who appreciate comfort and luxury services that make life beautiful. The rooms mainly feature artwork by local artists, creating an individual atmosphere.
The hotel was opened in 2021 and has been managed since March 2024 by the famous Chef Andrea Fenoglio, former owner of the Michelin-starred restaurant, Sissi, in Merano and Pizzeria 357, also in Merano.

It is the urban retreat for experiencing all that the city has to offer, the beautiful surroundings and outdoor activities, while exploring the rich South Tyrolean food and wine culture.
Steinach Townhouse Meran is a historic house with modern comforts - a symbiosis of old and new. The attention to detail, the uniqueness of the small town and the joy of the hosts can be felt in the many details.
The building in which the accommodation is located is in the historic Steinach quarter, one of the most authentic in the centre of Meran, but far from the tourist hustle and bustle, and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, the neighbouring church tower, the rooftops and alleyways of the old town and the riverbank.
The suites
Spacious and cosy, they have been designed in every detail to offer comfortable spaces where you can feel at home. A perfect blend of the old and the new: traditional South Tyrolean and Austrian furniture in finely renovated rooms equipped with all modern comforts: wall heating and cooling, home automation systems, access with electronic systems.

Neighbourhood information
The City
Merano, an eclectic, Central European city, is the hidden garden in the heart of the Alps.
Its history of holidays with a noble past is combined with elegance and contemporary hospitality and becomes the refuge to return to whenever you want to regain your equilibrium, pampered by the quality of life.
The Steinach Quarter
Behind Merano Cathedral on the streets leading to the medieval gateway to the Val Passiria lies Merano's best-kept secret. Quiet and with a reserved atmosphere, the Steinach quarter is one of the oldest and best preserved in the city.
