Torre dell'Aurora is an ancient, panoramic Tower sighting in the Tuscan countryside that can comfortably accommodate 5 people, surrounded by a large green area for exclusive use, perched on the La Meraviglia hill in the medieval town of Monte San Savino. Strategically located between Florence, Siena, Cortona, Arezzo and the Tuscan thermal baths, it is ideal for those who want to discover the beauty of Tuscany or those who prefer to relax in a secluded place. Private parking and Wi-Fi in the property. Leaving the car in the large clearing at the end of the slope, opening the gate you enter the private garden, equipped for resting, eating and, if you wish, grilling a fantastic 'Chianina' steak. The garden is overlooked by the French windows of the large living room, with sofa and armchairs, workstation, dining area and a well-equipped kitchen with four gas burners, oven, fridge with freezer and dishwasher, and a tiled wood stove that can also be used to cook and heat dishes. All rooms have WIFI and panoramic windows with mosquito nets, because the breeze coming from the valley makes air conditioning unnecessary. From the comfortable internal wooden staircase or the traditional external stone staircase (watch your step!) you go up to the second floor, which includes a large entrance hall and many wardrobes for luggage, a luxurious double bedroom with two windows and private bathroom with bath and shower and a second bedroom with another double bed or two beds and the second bathroom, where there is also a washing machine. A further staircase leads to perhaps the most beautiful room: a third bedroom with a French bed, private bathroom with shower and a small terrace overlooking the roof tiles and the entire valley to the horizon!

Hi, everybody. I am Aurora. I live and work in Rome, where I was born on March 63 years ago (I am of the sign of Pisces) and have been married for 40 years to Raffaello, who has Tuscan origins. So in these years of marriage I have learned to know and love Tuscany and in view of retirement, together with my husband, we decided to recover with great care and love the little house where he was born. To be rented is the tower's scenic east wing, which dominates the valley as far as the sun rises (hence the name, but the owner is also called Aurora), while the other wing is inhabited by Aurora and her husband, who, however, pending retirement, work in Rome. When Aurora and Raphael are absent , Antonella, a close friend of theirs, will always be at the guests' disposal for any needs.

The house is located in a "strategic" position in the centre between the castle of Gargonza (10 minutes by car) Arezzo (22 minutes), Montepulciano, Cortona and Lake Trasimeno (35 minutes) Siena (50 minutes), Perugia and Orvieto (60 minutes) Assisi and Florence (75 minutes), Volterra (93 minutes) Pisa (100 minutes), but also to enjoy a relaxing day at the famous thermal baths of Rapolano (24 minutes) Fonteverde (56 minutes) Bagno Vignoni (60 minutes, the owners' favourite, with no less than three spas). A little further afield are Rome, Bologna, San Marino and the Terme di Saturnia (about 2 hours). Those who don't feel like driving around can decide to go shopping at the Val di Chiana Outlet (9 minutes by motorway), visit Monte San Savino or take a walk along the paths through the woods and countryside (we recommend not disturbing the fauna and wearing boots in the tall grass) ... and anyway, for the lazier (or wiser) ones, a few minutes' drive away there is a bakery and a butcher's shop with excellent traditional products, also already cooked, the Coop and other supermarkets and at least ten restaurants where you can eat the delicious dishes of Tuscan cuisine.
