“Torre dello Sperone” (or “Buttress Tower”) is a penthouse – for up to 5 people, including families with children – located in the old district of Stampace, in the heart of the historic centre of Cagliari. The apartment (85 square meters) is on the 3rd floor of an antique building of the late XIX century (sorry there's no elevator, but I promise it will make you fit!) and lay upon the most ancient tower of Cagliari, just right one of the gates to the medieval city. The penthouse can boast a wooden beams ceiling and a privileged view either of the Tower and the whole Castello district. The spacious living room is decorated with two comfortable sofas, a 32" flat screen TV, a small multilingual library and a table with some chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is also a lovely mezzazine with a double bed (futon, japanese style). The sleeping area offers an elegant double bedroom with a balcony and a view of the ancient Castello district; and another room with a single bed. Moreover there is bathroom with both shower and bath tub, and a little laundry. The apartment also offers air conditioning and free wi-fi connection.

The apartment boasts a perfect location: 600 meters from the coach and train station, and from the harbour of Cagliari; 5 km from Poetto beach and just 300 meters from the Hospital “San Giovanni di Dio”. Moreover, the penthouse is just two minutes walking distance from Piazza Yenne, that is the door of the coolest nightlife area of the city. Here you can find bars, pubs and restaurants. From here all the major tourist attractions of Cagliari are walking distance or can be reached by public transport. Walking around the city will give our guests the chance to visit numerous archaeological sites through all historic districts of Stampace, Castello, Marina and Villanova. "Get lost" in a huge amount of views and breathtaking corners will be a way to feel like a local. The Roman Amphitheatre, the Botanic Garden, the towers and the ancient walls, the bastions of the old city are just some of the places worth visiting. The weather allows to visit the city at any time of year. Finally, the airport – just 15 minutes away - is easily accessible by car and train.
