Villa Carovi is located in Favignana, the largest of the Egadi Islands, a small archipelago off the western coast of Sicily, just a short distance from Trapani. The property is set in the heart of a large Mediterranean garden facing the sea, just 1 km from the beach. Favignana is a true gem of the Mediterranean sea, renowned for its rugged coastline, crystal-clear waters, sea caves, and unspoiled nature. Just a few minutes away by hydrofoil, you can reach Levanzo, the smallest and most peaceful of the Egadi Islands, with untouched landscapes and the must-see Grotta del Genovese, home to prehistoric cave engravings. Marettimo, on the other hand, is the most remote and wild of the Egadi Islands. Ideal for lovers of trekking and nature, it offers beautiful boat excursions to sea caves and secluded coves, such as the Grotta del Cammello (Camel Cave). On the mainland, we recommend a visit to Trapani and Erice, a Medieval hilltop village offering spectacular views of the coastline.
