Villa Rita is a historic house dating back to the 1400s where time seems not to have passed. The walls, floors, ceilings tell stories full of charm, eager to be heard. The estate has a large quadrangular courtyard where, in the center, there is a large cloister. The lucky ones could find themselves in the middle of a wedding banquet because the halls are very suitable for ceremonial events. Inside, the numerous rooms of which it is composed still present the evocative and authentic period frescoes by Ghirlanda, a Florentine painter who, among other things, frescoed the Monumental Cemetery of Pisa. The furnishings of the villa have been designed in such a way as to bring the entire environment back to its origins by finding unique pieces, vintage and design elements, where the charm of the Mediterranean past is transmitted.

The medieval village of Vicopisano, only 6 km away, famous for the fortified buildings by the architect Filippo Brunelleschi and, 6 km towards Pisa, is the famous Certosa di Calci, now an important monument where, inside, there is a natural history museum and the freshwater aquarium.
