Admire the spectacular medieval architecture of the church of Santa Maria della Rocca, surrounded on three sides by cliffs overlooking the surrounding valleys. In the center of the town is the famous Piazza del Popolo with its Town Hall. Visit the beautiful Theater of the Serpente Aureo. Offida is also the town of the Tombolo Lace Museum, the Carnival and Offida mushrooms, and Pecorino and Passerina, two excellent wines of the Marche region. From Milan, 500 km by traveling along the A1 and A14 highways. By Train: From Milan/Bologna, take the Intercity or Frecciarossa train towards Lecce and get off at Ancona. Here take the regional train towards Ascoli Piceno and get off at the 'Offida Castel di Lama' station. From the station go to the 'Castel di Lama - Bar Sport' stop and take the 08EXT line towards 'Offida, Piazza G. Leopardi' for 20 stops. Get off at "S.p. 15 - Bivio Castignano" and walk for 3 minutes to reach the villa.
