Our favourite compliment from a guest is that our home has soul. Eclectic furnishings compliment the creativity of Caribbean artists and writers which adorn our spaces, each with its own story. We gladly share these stories and those of our city.
'Why visit like a tourist when you can live with Jamaicans' is our unique value proposition, and I am your host, Michelle Neita. A homestay experience in our suburban home on the northern edge of the city of Kingston is yours. Welcome to our home.
Our home is perched just below the crest a hill, shaded by the evening sun which sets on the city. The view from the second floor bedroom and from the verandah -everyone's favourite breakfast nook - is nothing less than spectacular. The seeming arm's length view of one of the many mountains in the Stony Hill area make you know that the hills are indeed alive. Sometimes wrapped in mist, they form the foundation for the daily morning sun and the rise of the monthly full moon. The second bedroom is on the main floor to the rear. We are a five-minute drive south to Manor Park, the nearest commercial centre, and will arrange taxi service into the heart of our city and tours of it. Best to take adcantafe of these services or hire a car as the uphill climb is really for the fittest exercise buffs. You can walk with our neighbours any morning you choose.
