Our self-renovated Japanese “minka” house is located in a tiny town on a tiny island of Japan. Enjoy the magnificent sunset views over the Seto-Inland Sea that change color every day. Take a scenic walk to the lighthouse and you may spot jumping mullet or even stingray. Relax in the stillness of nature and watch the island`s black kites hunt from the beach located in front of the house. View neighboring Shodo Island and the coastline spanning all the way from Akashi to Kakogawa.
We are an Australian/Japanese international couple. We used to be fashion designers but left that to flip houses in 2015. Now we own 2 rental properties AKIYA nehemiah and AKIYA cornerstone. For more information please check out our Instagram and Youtube.
