Harunako Onsen Yusuge is a Japanese ryokan-style inn which has natural onsen (hot spring) located near lake Haruna. The guest room is a Japanese style with tatami mat. The guest can appreciate beautiful seasonal view of lake Haruna from the room. Please note that all rooms are non-smoking. What we proud the most is the onsen. It is the only natural hot spring in Harunako area. Our guests are able to enjoy it as long as their heart content. The onsen water contains some minerals and these help your body keep warm even after going out of the bath. Inner bath, open-air bath and sauna are available and great view of lake Haruna is appreciable. After soothed and relaxed by the onsen, it’s time to have special dinner made by our chefs with full dedication. We offer Japanese style dinner mainly featuring mountain food and these are carefully selected by the chefs. Delicious local sake (Japanese rice wine) which are going well with the cuisine are waiting your order. Harunako Onsen Yusuge is located in front of the lake Haruna where it is emblazed by beautiful nature of Haruna. Here is an ideal place for people who is planning mountain climbing, trekking, etc. Breathtaking view of the lake and kanto plain awaits you at the summit. Harunako ropeway connects the mountain foot to the top, so you can reach the top easily. Also, there is a lagoon area called numanohara near here. Visitors are able to find various wild flower by walking through on the wooden path. Other icon is Haruna jinja (Japanese Shinto shrine). This shrine has great history, dating back to AD927 and it has been still remaining as a sacred place being worshipped by many locals even now. During the walk to its main shrine, visitors can enjoy great nature of Haruna. Ikaho onsen, which is famous for the long stairway in the town, is not so far from our hotel. The route from lake Haruna to Ikaho is a model of Akina driving course of “Initial-D”, a well-known Japanese racing manga. “This is exactly as same as the comic!” Many fans said that with excitement.
