Our guesthouse is a renovated traditional Japanese home. We transformed a former tatami room into a cozy living room, keeping original features like the tokobashira (decorative pillar) and shoji (sliding paper doors), creating a unique mix of Japanese and Western styles. The house is just a 5-minute walk from the nearest station and is located along a peaceful walking path, with little car traffic—perfect for a relaxing stroll. Although the building has an old charm, we hope you’ll enjoy your stay and feel at home.
Hello! I'm Mari, your host. I live with my husband, our two sons, and a toy poodle. In my 20s, I spent time in Canada on a working holiday. I stayed with a host family and had the chance to meet many people and experience different cultures—it was a truly wonderful time. Now, I hope to help create similar experiences for others through this guesthouse. I would be very happy to welcome not only guests from Japan, but also visitors from around the world. Whether you’re staying with family, friends, or as a couple, I hope you can relax and enjoy your time here as if it were your own home. Out of so many places to stay, I truly appreciate you choosing ours. I will do my best to offer warm hospitality and make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Our guesthouse is a great base for sightseeing in Inuyama. By car, you can reach major attractions in just a short time: – 15 minutes to Inuyama Castle (a National Treasure) – 10 minutes to Meiji Mura – 15 minutes to Little World – 20 minutes to Japan Monkey Park We're also about 40 minutes away from both Ghibli Park and central Nagoya. The nearest station, Meitetsu Haguro Station, is just a 5-minute walk from the house, and it's only one stop to Inuyama Station—making access very convenient.
