【Pet is OK】 A over 80-years-old traditional local house ! Most suitable for family！ To the Kyoto Railway museum and Kyoto aquarium 5 minutes on foot ! a over 80-year-old building. Bettei Umekoji is 7 minutes from Kyoto station by car. From the house it is a 5-minute walk to the Kyoto Aquarium. In this area there are many sights related to the Shinsen-gumi such as: To-ji Temple, Mibu-dera Temple, Nishi-Hongwan-ji Temple and the Shimabara Oomon. Nyakuichi-jinja Shrine is a 13-minute walk away. Here you will find a deity to good luck and career success, which is associated with Taira no Kiyonori. There are four Japanese style rooms in this house so 2 families traveling together will be comfortable here. On the opposite side of the garden we installed a Shigaraki cemaric bathtub which blends perfectly witht he elegance and charm of a machiya. This is also one of the rare guesthouses where you are welcome to bring your pets.Kimono or Yukata (a casual summer kimono) are available for rent at our office at Kyoto station.
