At USUKI TRAVEL GUIDE we provide exclusive overnight accommodation suitable for individual travellers or small groups, ensuring your privacy and comfort. USUKI TRAVEL GUIDE is situated in a row of historical shop houses in the heart of Usuki. The building itself was built in 1921, but recently renovated in modern style. Still, you can enjoy the original beautiful beams above your living area. Please enjoy the traditional Japanese architecture designs in your private area. (Bathroom) Your private bathroom has a big bathtub, washing space, that Japanese bathrooms usually have, and a Japanese garden view. Please enjoy the relaxing bathtime with your choice of bath bomb among 12 kinds of aromas. For your convenience, body wash, shampoo, conditioners and a hair dryer are equipped. (Kitchen) We have an equipped kitchen with a refrigerator on the ground floor which you can use anytime. Free drinks (tea, coffee and water) are there for you. (Garden) If you would like to have breakfast in the garden, we can prepare for it! Please let us know your preference on your arrival. (Staff room) Staff room is on the ground floor. If you have any problem, please do not hesitate to ask us anytime. We have a couple of businesses on the ground floor and customers sometimes come in /out. Only USUKI TRAVEL GUIDE guests have access to the first floor so your privacy is protected.
WELCOME TO USUKI! My name is Ai, and I used to live and work in overseas. After having spent a time in a lot of countries, I relocated to my hometown, Usuki, in 2019. Look forward to seeing many travelers here and would be happy to assisit you!
USUKI TRAVEL GUIDE is located in the heart of a castle town in Usuki. Usuki castle was once surrounded by the sea, just like Mont Saint-Michel in France. This castle was demolished when Edo government was closed, but　two original buildings mained on its site and we still preserve them. Not only the castle ruins but many popular sightseeing spots, such as old streets with historical aroma and old temples, are all in walking distance. If you want to buy craft sake and miso/soy sause, our neighbors are storehouses! I can easily accompany you to find your favorite one. You will enjoy many kinds of festivals here in Usuki in each season. Feel free to reach out to us if you’re planning a trip to Usuki soon – we’d be delighted to assist you.
