Perfect for families or couples. 7 min to Shinjuku, 8 to Shibuya; walk to Shimokitazawa. E-scooter/e-bike port: Shinjuku 15 min, Shibuya 13, Harajuku 11. Kids & babies welcome (host is a parent). Baby bed, high chair, cutlery, instant hot water, deodorizing diaper bags. Nearby: 100 yen shop and Don Quijote (Donki), Japan’s discount megastore.
We’re a husband-and-wife hosting team. Both of us studied in the U.S. and learned so much about hospitality and culture through our host families. Inspired by that experience, we created WANOYADO—a place where guests from around the world can discover and fall in love with the spirit of Japan.
Despite being in a quiet residential neighborhood, the location offers excellent access—just 7 minutes to Shinjuku and 8 minutes to Shibuya. There are several authentic Japanese izakayas (pubs) and local diners nearby, so dining can become one of your favorite memories here. You’ll also find great shopping spots like 100-yen stores and Don Quijote (Donki), making it easy to enjoy the unique charm of everyday Japan just by exploring the neighborhood.
