South Sea House

The owners, Karen and Jerome, live on the property and pride themselves on providing top quality customer service. They are always available to assist guests with any queries or information about the island. As a St. Lucian citizen from Soufriere, Jerome has a wealth of knowledge about his island. In addition to managing the property he also operates boat tours down the coast to Soufriere. Karen, originally from the UK, has worked in the tourism industry for many years. She has called St. Lucia home since 2004 and loves her island home with its' warm climate, beautiful scenery and friendly people.

We chose the location for our property, which we built in 2013, for its' breezy, cool and quiet position. We are located in Cap Estate, which is a quiet upscale residential area. The property was purpose built with the three apartments and designed so each apartment has privacy from the others. They all have private balconies with plunge pools and a dedicated parking space. There is also a beautiful infinity pool and sun terrace on the property for guest use. The apartments are bright and modern and fully fitted out to cater to guests needs. We do recommend that guests book a hire vehicle. The local amenities of Rodney Bay - shops, grocery stores, bars, restaurants etc are about 5-7 minutes drive from the property. For those guests that do not wish to hire a vehicle there is a shuttle bus stop located a mile from the property or we can recommend a good local taxi.

We are located in the north of the island in a quiet upscale residential area, close to the tourist hub of Rodney Bay with all its' shops, large selection of restaurants and bars, and beaches. It is about 5-7 minutes drive away. Rodney Bay Marina, closer still to us has a good selection of casual eateries, great for lunch or a light supper and the The Boardwalk, which is a wonderful spot to enjoy a few sun downers while taking in the sunset. There are several great beaches close by - Cas en Bas on the Atlantic coast ( less than a mile down the road) and Smugglers, Pigeon Island and Reduit Beach on the Caribbean side. Gros Islet Friday night jump up is about 5 minutes drive away and our favourite local restaurant - Flavours of the Grill is also located in the village of Gros Islet. The new Splash water park for kids is also located in Rodney Bay and is proving very popular.
