I was born and grew up in Morocco, in the old city of Fes. I moved to the US in the 1980's when I met my wife. We have lived in Virginia for over 30 years now, but travel back to Morocco to see family yearly. I am managing this property with my daughter, we are so happy to have it in our family and to be able to share it with you!

The old city of Fes, known as Fes el-Bali, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the world. Founded in the 9th century, it is a vibrant labyrinth of narrow alleys, bustling souks, historic mosques, and centuries-old madrasas. Enclosed by ancient city walls and largely car-free, Fes el-Bali offers a glimpse into Morocco’s rich Islamic and Andalusian heritage. Highlights include the University of Al Quaraouiyine—regarded as the world’s oldest continuously operating university—and the iconic tanneries, where traditional leather-making practices are still in use. The old city is a living testament to the cultural, architectural, and spiritual history of Morocco- it feels like you've walked back in time when you walk the streets of the Old City.
