Citadel Gorges is the right choice for visitors who are traveling from Marrakesh to the Sahara desert or from Merzouga to Marrakech searching for a combination of charm, peace, and quiet, and a convenient position to spend the night in between Marrakech and the desert or from where to explore Dades Valley. It is a small, comfortable guest house, situated in the heart of Dades Gorge. The citadel gorge is arranged on two floors, There are two splendid terraces from where you can enjoy the wonderful 360° view, relax and immerge yourself from morning onwards in the atmosphere of Dades Valley's daily life, watching the city traveling about by water and people gathering together and filling the alleyways and little squares with their chatter. The rooms are arranged on the first, and second, floors. on the ground floor, apart from the reception, there is a comfortable lounge where you can sit and drink tea, or just read. The buffet breakfast is served in the lounge on the ground floor.

The neighbourhood of The Citadel gives good opportunity to walk with friends or with your children to discover the wealth and cultural traditions of the berbers ,the activities is available all around year as it is on the warmer south facing side of the High Atlas. we offer serval gentle treks mostl adonkey or mule bring your suplays will you are walking through the meandering hills of the dades valley and roses valley. Walking can be untile for no more than 2 – 6 hrs per day. the trail offers panoramic views, interesting geological formations and plenty of wildlife along the way. beautiful landscape with berber villages, plantations and the Dades river, many off roads around dades valley for lovers of mountain bike or motors bikes and 4 WD. They connecting the 4 valleys, dades valley, roses valley, birds valley, and todra valley without doubt offer a great experience lovers of the high mountains wildness, old Kasbahs with ancient villages warm and authentic Berber people. the location of The Citadel it s only 3 hours awy from sahara desert
