Hey! I'm a 25 year old traveller, currently living in my home country - Malta. I love to go on adventures, and descover new places. Outdoor sports is one of my passions and in Malta you can try a range from climbing and bouldering to skating and surfing!
I'm very outgoing and I love animals --I'v got a cute cat of my own named Staartje. I love going to parties and enjoying myself on an island like Malta. I love and studied history and love showing people around, giving them the experience of what Malta really is. I offer a number of tours and one-of-a kind expierences.
The beach house is set infront of the Salini - one of the oldest sites for salt harvest in Malta. The Romans used this area as a port and for the harvest of salt - a number of roman ancors have been found in the bay. The salt pans you see today where built by the Knights of Malta in the 16th century.
Adjecent to the beachhouse you can find the Salini National park, which hosts a number of small lakes and a nature reserve - one can admire a range of birds, including flamingos and grey herons. The park itself offeres stunning views and native flauna and trees, together with a kids playground and an outdoor gym.
The town of St.Paul's Bay has grown from a fishing village to a toursit centre. One can find 24hour shops and services and fishermen mending their nets in the early mornings.
The history of the town goes back to 5000BC - a temple can be found in towards Qawra point - this is the only temple where carvings of sea creatures where found. A number of medieval towers can be also found around the town - namely the Qawra tower (ta FraBen) and the Wignacourt tower. The town is named after St.Paul the Apostle who is said to have been shipwrecked in the area.
