The property is a genuine 300+ year old traditional Gozitan farmhouse, beautifully converted into a very comfortable property, in the peaceful village of Għarb. There are three first-floor bedrooms, one double and two twin, each with ensuite bathrooms and air conditioners (operated by a coin-system). There is also a ground-floor bathroom. The well-equipped kitchen leads out to a courtyard with a stone-built barbeque. There is a dining room and a spacious living-room with a wood-burning stove. The sunporch leads out to a beautiful deck-area which boasts a large pool and a corner jacuzzi. There are stunning views of the countryside that stretch out to the sea, featuring the outstanding Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary. The private parking area, accommodating three cars, is very convenient. Additional facilities include: free wifi, a washing machine, an iron, hair-dryers, bed-linen, towels, a cot (upon request) and a high-chair (upon request).

Joseph Cassar and the entire Cassar family live close to the farmhouse. They have tended the property ever since its conversion and indeed did the extensive work to make the property the practical, comfortable and beautiful place it now is. They are always readily available to advise and assist in any way they can during your stay.

Situated in the small village of Għarb, the farmhouse is about 25 minutes drive from the ferry at Mġarr Harbour and about 10 minutes drive from the capital city, Victoria. The village centre, with its magnificent church, is within walking distance. There are a few good restaurants within the village, while there are numerous others serving excellent food for all tastes around the island. As regards grocery shopping, the Lighthouse Supermarket, is a few minutes walk away and the more extensively stocked Ta’ Dirjanu Supermarket, is just outside the village. Very close by, there is an excellent Pharmacy and Ta’ Dbieġi Artisan Village, showcasing local crafts and casual food. The Farmhouse is a special place to enjoy peace and quiet. However, the neighbourhood, and the whole island of Gozo, have much to offer. Experience swimming in the Mediterranean Sea at the various beaches around the island or scuba diving. Discover the island’s historical places, including the prehistoric Ġgantija Temples and the Citadel. There are also various walking trails. The places of interest are easily accessible within a few minutes by car or by the efficient bus service.
