We are an Irish couple and after many years holidaying in Gozo, we finally moved here in 2018. We love Gozo and all it has to offer. The climate is a big plus for us, the warm Mediterranean Sea, wonderful cliff walks with amazing views. Always somewhere new to discover. Our dog loves it too.

Xaghra is a lovely village, a great starting point for discovering the island. Xaghra square has a great selection of restaurants, cafes and bars, also supermarkets and 2 pharmacies. A beautiful church stands proud in the center. The Ggantija Temples which are one of the oldest free standing structures in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site are a short walk from the square and you will also find the Ta'Kola Windmill which has been fully restored to its former glory
