The neighbourhood incudes friendly neighbours, local shops and supermarket that you might use regularly, post office, police station, bus station and is close to Gris Gris public beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius, well knowed for its see cliffs and offers visitors a magnificent view from the top. Nearer is La Roche qui pleure (weeping rock) which is also another fantastic viewpoint where if you look at the rock at the right angle, it will appear as a face with tears constantly streaming down, as the waves continually crash.
