Our apartments are beautifully furnished and decorated with top-of-the-line appliances and kitchenware. Each has a second floor with a private plunge pool, covered sitting area, and bar with beautiful views. All bedrooms have A/C and private bathrooms. In addition, we have a 4-plex apartment one block from the Malecon and beach in Progreso ranging in sizes from Studio to 2 bedroom. Chicxulub Puerto is most famous for being near the geographic center of the Chicxulub crater, an impact crater on the Yucatán Peninsula extending into the ocean and created some 66 million years ago by an asteroid or comet. We are situated in Chicxulub, Yucatan, approximately 10 kms from Progreso, and 57 km from the Merida Int’l Airport. You are only minutes walk from the beach at 200 m away! There’s a museum nearby where you can learn more. This region is home to many gorgeous cenotes, (natural freshwater sinkholes) and Mayan ruins and is known for its long stretch of quiet, stunning, semi-virgin beaches and ecological activities such as bird watching or bike tours.
