From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Beginning 1 July 2016, as directed by the Langkawi Municipal Council, a local government Tourism Promotion Fee would be applicable per room per night. Please note that credit card information is required upon booking for guarantee purposes only. In some cases, the credit card may be pre-authorised, but no charges will be made prior to check-in. Guests are required to make full payment upon checking in.
Starting 1st January 2025 onwards, Heritage Charges (Caj Warisan) of RM6 are applicable during Prestigious Events, like Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace (LIMA) (20th-24 MAY 2025), Le Tour De Langkawi, Ironman, and Oceanman Malaysia.
