ODE Langkawi Country Lodge Nestled snugly amidst padi field greenery dotted by white flecks of egrets. Cows graze in pastoral comfort serviced by birds in symbiotic gestures. The one bull in the paddock nearby ruminates consistently and occasionally turns and stares at cackling guests sitting in the thatched roof pondok. What is it about Langkawi Country Lodge that is special? Laughter emanates from its Kampung Café often as does music, live music from a ukulele or guitar or harmonica or percussion, as does poetry recited with passion and sing-a-longs of glee and harmony.
