Company information

Casa del Lago is a family company and this makes our atmosphere warm and cozy. All our apartments have a typical Dutch view of the fields, water, and a traditional windmill. All apartments have lots of natural light and modern (kitchen) equipment. The apartments are next to the Ringvaart canal. During summer, boats come by continuously. There are eight apartments in total. Two apartments have a big balcony and the others have a French balcony. In the common area, guests are able to cook, play board games or use our modern wellness facilities: a Finnish sauna, steam room, shower, and resting area. The common area is also suitable for large groups.

Property information

We, Sjaak and Marjan van der Meer, built and furnished the apartments by ourselves with the help of friends and family. Together with Marjan's brother Jan Michiels we really enjoy managing the apartments. We greatly enjoy providing all our guests with a pleasant stay. If you enter our street, you immediately get a holiday feeling and we want everyone to enjoy this!

Neighbourhood information

The apartments of Casa del Lago are situated in the middle of the typical Dutch countryside, next to the Ringvaart canal. It couldn't be any more Dutch! In spring, flower spectacle the Keukenhof is only six kilometers away. Around the corner there is a yearly flower parade Bloemencorso. The area is perfect for biking, walking, fishing and various water sports. We rent out electrical bikes to our guests. It is also possible to rent a small boat and discover the water yourself. You can make a boat trip to the nearby lakes Kagerplassen or go to the canals of the city of Leiden. The beach is close too. Noordwijk aan Zee is only a ten-kilometer bike or car ride away from our apartments.
