Welcome to our lovely family cottage in the heart of the Epe woods! Located in a small-scale and peaceful holiday park on the edge of beautiful forests and heathlands, it’s the perfect place to relax — or to enjoy a variety of activities in the Veluwe region. Upon arrival, you’ll find a clean and welcoming cottage with freshly made beds. Clean towels are provided, and in the kitchen you’ll find tea towels and hand towels ready for use. There’s also a starter supply of essentials such as tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, and soap. Of course, Wi-Fi is available. The living room is warmly and tastefully decorated, with a large, comfortable sofa — perfect for relaxing after a day in nature. The dining table is ideal for enjoying meals or playing one of the games we’ve provided. You’re welcome to grab a book from our swap-shelf, or craft and play with the supplies available for children. The cottage has two bedrooms: One bedroom with a double bed, where a baby cot can be added if needed. A second bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom includes a toilet, shower cabin, and a sink unit with a large mirror — behind which you’ll find the hairdryer. A washing machine and dryer are also located here, convenient for freshening up your (sports) clothes during your stay. In the fully equipped kitchen, you can prepare your favorite meals or simply heat something up in the combination microwave. You’ll also find a kettle, a filter coffee machine, a Nespresso machine, and a dishwasher. The garden offers plenty of space and privacy. There’s an outdoor dining table with four chairs, as well as two loungers. In the shed, you’ll find two standard bikes for your use. Additional bikes can be rented at the park’s reception. Feel free to use any of the outdoor toys stored there as well. Work related stay are not allowed.

We are the de Rijk family! During the week, we live a busy life with work, school, sports, swimming lessons, and housework. In our free time, we enjoy spending time in nature. Since April 2025, we have had our own little spot in the woods: Boshuisje Rijk in the Veluwe! We love sharing this beautiful spot with other nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet.
