They’re knowledgeable about Amsterdam, museum, night life and shopping, so don’t hesitate to ask! Our concierge has tickets for Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, boat tours and several other activities. He is in charge of the luggage room, so you can store your bags safely before checking in or after check out. He can assist you with parking, recommending and reserve a restaurant and taxi services.

Property information

In 1791 the Hoogduitsche Schouwburg opened in the Amstelstraat. Amsterdam was familiar with French arts, but the German performances in this theater, one of the first of the city, acted as a catalyst for the Dutch theater. In 1852, the theater got renamed the Grand Théâtre des Variétés. During the winter of 2nd World War it was used by city residents as a source of firewood. In 1946 the ruins were demolished. In the 60s office buildings were constructed on the empty lot in the Amstelstraat. And from May 2006 the Rembrandt Square Hotel Amsterdam opened the doors for international and national guests.
