Traditional fisherman's house with 2 floors, bathroom, kitchen and outside sitting area, at the bottom of he famous "dike" in Volendam. Few steps from the lake, port, bars and restaurants.
Host lives in Edam, only 4 km's away. Professionally a lecturer at a University in Amsterdam and privately active as a musician.
The house is in the oldest part of Volendam the so called Doolhof or Labyrinth. Here you can wander through the small streets or sit outside in front of the house on your terras and have a chat with people passing by or with the neighbours in his friendly authentic part of the village. Car free neighbourhood, free parking possible not too far away. 5 minutes walk from the house.
