Amsterdam entrance door You will use your very own typical Amsterdam entrance door -inside a staircase- to enter the studio/apartment. Two steps on a small staircase outside only. The studio/apartment is located in the souterrain (street-level / ground floor) of a beautiful canal house with a view on the Keizersgracht. You will have access to approximately a spacious 60m2 (635 sqft). Please note that this is very spacious compared to other apt and hotel rooms in Amsterdam. The studio/apartment has its own private bathroom, fridge, Smart TV, microwave, water cooker, coffee machine, toaster, one double bed and two single beds, dining area & sitting area with a comfy sofa. These last two areas have a loft feel: they are seperated by a cabinet / wall. Free WiFi (fast), an alarm clock and a large mirror (inside the door of a cabinet), hairdryer, iron facilities, etc.. KG House has its own central heating systeem. It is warm & cosy in winter, while in summer it is cool & fresh (airco not needed). There are several great places for breakfast just around the corner. Also nearby are various grocery stores. The building itself is a state monument and has a rich history. It was built in 1670, holds key elements from that period, but also modern elements (large windows) a design from the 70th can be seen. Please do note that KG House has a dedicated sleeping and dining & sitting area. There is a spacious loft feel: they are seperated by a cabinet / wall: meaning there is no seperate room with an entrance door to the sleeping area. Due to local regulations there is a maximum of 4 guests total (including children & baby's).

Luggage storage If you wish to store your lugage prior to arrival or after departure, please let us know. It is possible to collect the lugage on a pre-agreed time. In case you stay with 2 adults you can use bikes storage for 2 bikes (electrical or pedal-bikes) inside the studio/apartment. Check in - out Please ask for check in and out times outside that standaard time slots. I am sure we can suit your special requests. Business guests Upon request a receipt including all services for business purposes (VAT) is available. In the unfortunate case the Booking com receipt is not sufficient for business purposes.

Location, location, location. Amsterdam was built in the shape of a horseshoe and KG House is located in the middle of this horseshoe. A more centrally located place to stay is hardly possible. We are close of everything Amsterdam has to offer. It is steps away from (for example) the Rijksmuseum, The Van Gogh Museum, Spiegelstraat & luxureous P.C. Hooftstraat. But also, the famous shopping area, the 9 straatjes, is closeby. Simply walk a minute or two on the beautiful Keizersgracht and you ll be there. The KG House is located within the famous Spiegelkwartier and surrounded with art. It is everywhere. There are simply to many things for children to see and explore in Amsterdam to list here. Just walking around on the canals or waterbiking in the canals, it is all great fun. Most museums have family programs. In the summer time there are public swimming pools and beaches nearby. In the wintertime you can go ice-skating on the Museumplein (or if weather allows, on the canals!). The famous zoo, Artis, can be easily reached by public transport, push bike, or if you are in for a walk, by foot. Same applies for NEMO. On top of this there are various playgrounds nearby.
