Totally renovated (2019) farmhouse from 1870 with private parking, just a 10 min drive from downtown Amsterdam. Cooling, heating and tap water is produced via a state-of-the-art geothermal source. Our goal is to become total self sufficient including a grey water system. For the reconstruction we've used natural colours and (original) materials throughout the farm. The offered appartment is around 1/3 of the whole farm, but self supporting. It has it's own entrance and parking. It's designed with a four member family in mind. Two seperate bedrooms. A stylish bathroom. Further more a kitchen with all modern appliances like dishwasher, (steam) oven, microwave, Nespresso coffeemaker and more. A spacious livingroom finishes the layout of the apartment. We offer paid laundry service and mostly it’s ready within 24hrs. With our apartment we aim for families up to two children. For the more comfortable days of the year, there is the convenience of a nice sunny terrace (accessible via the master bedroom) with picnic table and lounge set. Ask us for the terms.

You're in a village but the ferry to Amsterdam city center is just a 15 min bike ride! Everything you need is within walking distance; Bus stop is just 1 minute walk and takes you in 15 min (via metro) to Amsterdam city centre. Super markets; 'Jumbo' and 'AH' Bakeries, pharmacy, butchers and a little market on Friday. Bike rental is just down the road. National park 'Het Twiske' is around the corner; great for biking, swimming, sailing, walking, picknick, with restaurants and great playgrounds for kids. Restaurants: De Zuyd (International), Bistrot Chez Etienne (French), La Bocca (Italian pizza), Take away: Thai Ubon, China Garden,Toko Bali (Indonesian), Samurai Sushi (Japanese) Amsterdam North (10 min by bike) is booming and lots of new places open every month: it offers restaurants, cinema, theatre, metro station (to center and south) bars, cultural and musical festivals. Very populair place is the NDSM wharf with the biggest flea market in Europe, restaurant Ijver, Plekk, Noorderlicht and just 15min by bike. From here you can also take the ferry to city centre.
