Discover The Surf Shack, one of the Ubuntu Lake Houses accommodations on the Vinkeveense Plassen. Located on one of the waters of the Netherlands, this chalet with unobstructed views and a swimming jetty offers the perfect holiday feeling. The property, with a sunny garden, provides a delightful getaway. Ideal for water and nature enthusiasts, with two free available SUP boards. Enjoy relaxation by the water, with a large dining table in the garden, lounge chairs, BBQ, and outdoor fireplace. The accommodation welcomes up to 7 people: 1 bedroom with three single beds (all 90 x 200) 1 bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200) 1 double sofa bed (160x200) You have full access to the accommodation, including the garden, where privacy is guaranteed thanks to the surrounding fence. Upon arrival, there is a key safe available for you to check in on your own and decide your arrival time, after 3:00 PM. We share all information regarding your stay five days in advance. The check-in code will be provided to you at 3:00 PM. If you wish to have a different check-in or check-out time, please inquire about the possibilities. (Organizing parties in this accommodation is not allowed.)

Vinkeveen is a beautiful village, renowned for the Vinkeveense Plassen (Vinkeveen Lakes). It's a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, such as sailors, kayakers, and divers, drawn by the clear waters and diverse underwater flora and fauna. In addition to water sports, Vinkeveen also offers picturesque hiking and cycling routes. The area is known for its natural surroundings, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoying the outdoors. Vinkeveen is conveniently located near Amsterdam and Utrecht, making it attractive for those seeking to combine nature with urban amenities, attractions, or nightlife. Furthermore, two supermarkets and a variety of dining options are nearby, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests. Accessibility: Motor vehicles cannot directly access the accommodation, allowing you to enjoy total tranquility on the edge of the Vinkeveense Plassen, surrounded by nature, birds, and silence. An 800m walk from the parking lot will lead you to this prime location. Upon arrival, our convenient cargo bike will be available at the entrance, allowing you to transport all your belongings to this beautiful holiday destination. We provide 2 complimentary bicycles for easy travel to and from the parking area. Additionally, 10 large carts are available.* Parking: From October 1st to March 31st, free parking is available on the road in front of the harbor. Outside of this period, there is a maximum parking duration of 2 hours within the parking disc zone between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm. Paid parking is available in a parking lot opposite the park (10 per day). For a fee, we offer the option to pick you up with a golf cart and transport all your luggage directly to the accommodation. This service is available from Monday to Friday between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday between 11:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
