You will be staying in a very special and comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood, near the center. In the barn you can safely store and charge your (rental) bike. Onthaast & Geniet is a wonderful place, with excellent beds, a bath, a beautiful old kitchen from 1928 (Piet Zwart) with gas stove, coffee maker and microwave. In the kitchen cupboards a large variety of herbs and cooking utensils. In the fridge you will find a nice beer! Everything to make your stay very pleasant!
We are Quint and Olga. We love to travel, and we live a part of the year in France, so our house can be yours for your holiday!
Very close to all amenities. Two supermarkets, the train and bus station, shops, museums, restaurants, the ferry to Texel, all within walking distance. very close to all the nice places in the center. Within 5 minutes you are at Willemsoord and in the shopping area with all the restaurants and museums. With your (rental) bike you are at the lovely sandy beach in 10 minutes. Cycling through the dunes and the beautiful bulb fields is also recommended! There are cycling routes available. If you go to Texel for a day, you are there within half an hour. The boat is already an adventure! By train, Schagen (15 minutes), Alkmaar (30 minutes) and Amsterdam (70 minutes) are always close by. Parking is free. For the center you use the blue parking disc. Come and enjoy what Den Helder has to offer!
