High on the dune, with phenomenal views, and all that with a beach entrance almost next door ... A prime location in a striking building. Much is still in its original state. Do not expect luxury and modern furnishings. Expect charm, nature, simplicity and a real beach holiday! Sachs Hoyz (4 Persons) This is a unique charming holiday home in a great location. High on the dune with a phenomenal view of the dunes, the village and stretches of sea. And all that with beach access almost next door. Sachs Hoyz is named after the family. It is a striking property in a prime location and was built in the 1950s by architect Auke Komter. Much is still in its original state. Don't expect luxury and modern furnishings, but expect charm, nature, simplicity and a great beach holiday. You can drive your car up the dune or walk up to the entrance. On the ground floor you will find the master bedroom (double bed 140 x 200) with a bathtub a washbasin. There is also a children's bedroom with a single bed (1.90 long) and a room with a bunk bed. Please note : the beds in the children's room are only 1.90 long and 80 cm wide so basically not suitable for fullA small separate bathroom with a sink and a shower. There is a separate toilet. The circular staircase leads to the living room and dining room with the original table and cupboard arrangement, as designed by the architect. The kitchen is simple but fully equipped. The living room is like a painting with views over the North Holland Dune Reserve. Where Scottish Highlanders and even herds of wild horses roam. There are two sheltered and sunny terraces on different levels, equipped with the necessary garden furniture. You can park your car at the end of the driveway right next to the house. A very large plot surrounds the house, giving you maximum privacy.

Bergen aan Zee beach is perhaps the best-kept secret of the Dutch coast. Time seems to have stood still here. Bergen aan Zee and its neighbouring villages of Bergen, Schoorl and Egmond offer you kilometres of sandy beaches, dunes, woods and heathland. Here you can enjoy cycling, walking and recreation. Enjoy the terraces, cafés and restaurants, shopping and strolling. You won't lack anything culturally either, visit the museums, galleries and annual events this region has to offer. This part of the Dutch coast also has the highest number of sunshine hours in the Netherlands. Enjoy lazing around, swimming and water sports.
