The Market Retreat is an apartment on the Albert Cuypstraat, the biggest daily market street in Amsterdam. The property is located in the Oud Zuid district of Amsterdam with lots of restaurants, cafes and small independent shops. It is situated within walking distance from the Museumplein, with the Rijksmuseum,van Goghmuseum and the Stedelijk Museum of Amsterdam. Heineken Experience and Carre Theatre are both 800 metres from this property. The apartment is decorated with modern art. It consists of a spacious room with a small balcony overlooking the market. The room features a double bed, a desk and a flat screen TV. Furthermore, the apartment features a small fridge and a coffee machine. It has a modern bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. The Market Retreat is a luxurious private room with bathroom and its own entrance. Located at the biggest liveliest street market in Amsterdam: the Albert Cuyp. With restaurants, cafe's and small shops at your doorstep. This place is perfectly situated with Museumplein and the old city centre, just a 15 min walk away. To get to the room you need to navigate typical steep Dutch staircases and is therefore not suited for the elderly or infirm. The big and luxurious room is tastefully decorated with modern art. The room is big and has a comfortable King sized bed. There is a pleasant desk, a big bathroom with shower and bath, a separate toilet, a smart tv, a kettle with tea, a coffee machine with coffee and a small fridge.

The accommodation is situated in the lively & the famous street market the Albert Cuyp. The neighbourhood is called Oud Zuid and also known as the Pijp. The neighbourhood is a very charming place with lots of restaurants, cafe's and small shops. Famous places like the old centre, the Museumplein with van Gogh museum, Rijksmuseum and het Stedelijk is all within walking distance. As is the Heineken brewery.
