Two separate cabins, very well equipped with new matresses, top matresses, pillows, down comforters, etc.. Kitchen has everything you may need to cook and entertain, including raclette and waffle machine, etc.. The small appliances are new as well. The main cabin has one bedroom with large closet, master bath and separate toilet. Enjoy 3 fireplaces, a large entrance with coat closet with heated floors (in bath and toilet as well). Kitchen, living room, and dining area are also in the main cabin . Large brand new tv with WiFi for Netflix or other streaming Comfortable for 8 people to enjoy a meal with all utensils needed to cook and entertain. High chair for toddler and Babyphone with camera is provided so you can easily communicate with second cabin. WiFi in both cabin Second cabin annex has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower including a washer/drier. The environment is surrounded by pristine nature, and beautiful wildlife the whole family will enjoy. Hiking or mountain biking starts right from the front porch for miles and miles… There is even a stream in the backyard. Some of the best skiing in Norway is a 10 min short drive. Restaurants and supermarkets, pharmacy, doctor, etc is 8 min away. Norway is safe, clean, fresh air and pure water. Children will be in heaven playing outside in the snow as well as during all seasons. In the summer there will be table and chairs outside ( small table for 4) with barbecue and fire pit for marshmallows. Enjoy ! Welcome ! My extended family is from Norway but we live in the Caribbean so we decided to have a family home in the Norwegian mountains in the best ski resort. My whole family loves to come to Geilo and we enjoy hosting family and friends. You will find our vacation home to be comfortable and cozy. Our two lodgings are truly authentic Norwegian cabins, with some doors being a few hundred years old and typical Norwegian furnitures fetched in different places. 10 min drive to the Norway top ski resort. In winter, great ski school for kids where they also offer other activities for the whole family. Dog sledding in the forest, kite skiing, and in our garden kids can play safely in the snow In the summer ,hiking and biking right out from our cabin for hundreds of miles of trails. Accrobranche, rafting, bowling, fishing and so much more Wood church only 20 minutes away It’s also a short 8 min drive to town for shopping, quality supermarkets and restaurants . They offer great local produces, some of the best meat and dairy products you’ll ever have. We love that the air is pure and nature pristine.
