In the area around the cabin there are many beautiful ponds, such as Skinka, Skimten, Goliaten and Tverråsvannet, where you can enjoy the tranquillity of nature. Head to the viewpoints along the edge of Tverråsen, just a short walk from the cabin, and enjoy the spectacular views. After you've spent a few hours exploring the pine forest with its large rocky outcrops and red Drammen granite, head to the cozy Tverken café for a hot coffee or freshly baked waffles. After several years of searching, we finally found our dream cabin in Drammensmarka, which we have chosen to call "Fjellro". The cabin is located deep in the field where the pine forest is at its most beautiful. After many years of restoration, the cabin is pretty much as it was when it was built in the 1930s. "Our cabin is the place we go to get out into nature, and into the simple, alternative life. Here we enjoy the warmth of the traditional wood-burning stoves, wood from our own forest and water from our own well. Here you can be completely at peace, and you will be welcome.
