Løvheim Budget is a B & B with 6 rooms in a outdoorhouse. In The main building you find a cafe/lunchroom and a interior design shop.
The shop has special lighting of “Old Timer Light” from the Netherlands and well-grounded selected interior novelties from all over the world.

We are Marijke and Wierd Oosterloo and come from the village Drachten in the Netherlands.
Marijke is an interior decorator and ran an interior shop in the Netherlands for seven years. Wierd is an entrepreneur who has been a certified real estate agent in the Netherlands for seven years, preceded by a career as finacial manager for twenty years.
As our children left home, possibilities arose to start something new in our lives. We aspired to take on a new challenge and soon settled on Norway to start our search because we both found it a beautiful country.
Løvheim presented the challenge we were looking for. Now, after more than two years hard work, ninety percent of the project is finished.

The fairy tail Heddal Stave church
Heddal stave church does not only have a fairy tail feel. It is actually a part of one.
Gaustatoppen, which many claim to be the most beautiful mountain in Norway, towers majestically above the town of Rjukan at an altitude of 1,883 metres. Around 30,000 people make the trip up to the summit every year to enjoy the fantastic views from the top. On a clear day, you can see all the way south to the coast and east to Sweden. You can see one sixth of Norway from here. No matter what the weather is like, you can still buy a cup of coffee, waffles and food at the Tourist Association's 100-year-old stone cabin on the summit. You can pick your own stone from the piles around the summit and get it stamped to prove that you climbed the mountain. A new alpine slope down Gaustatoppen is planned, but this is no new idea. Had it not been for the Second World War, the alpine disciplines at the 1940 World Championships would have been arranged here.
