Newly renovated mountain lodge beautifully located 1000 m above sealevel at Kikut, Geilo. The lodge has five bedrooms with 13 beds available, and two bathrooms with showers in both. Parking on the property. Cross country skiing straight from the door. Short distance to downhill skiing. Sun from morning to night. Firepit outside for a nice afterski.

Geilo has been named "Norway's Best Ski Resort" 3 years in a row - not without reason. Geilo has a rich offer of activities in the high mountains and a short distance to the national parks Hallingskarvet and Hardangervidda. Hyttegrenda Kikut is located at approx. 1,000 meters above sea level - a lovely and snow-sure area on Geilo, with a short distance to both the center of Geilo and the alpine slopes. The hiking experiences are lined up at Kikut, with endless groomed cross-country trails in the area. You will find an interactive map of the possibilities at skisporet-no At Kikutkroa you can dine in with a menu created with local ingredients and this could be your starting point for alpine skiing, also with a large children's area for alpine enthusiasts and a new lift into the rest of the alpine resort. Geilo has a rich offer of activities, a ski resort that stretches up the mountain sides on either side of the valley, connected by a free ski bus - in addition to endless cross-country trails. All with great variety for all levels. There are sleigh rides, snowshoeing, ice fishing, a water park and bowling alleys and a unique, vibrant center with a variety of shops and restaurants.
