IMPORTANT: Guests must bring their own bed linen and towels. There is a toll gate on the road to the cabin, NOK 100,- per passage. ABOUT THE CABIN: Cabin at Blefjell, in Notodden municipality. Polaren is wonderfully located at 550 meter with a beautiful view of Follsjø. It is a short distance to mile-long cross-country ski trails and approx. 30 km to alpine slopes in kongsberg. The hiking area is just right outside the door. BEDROOMS: The cabin is a Nordlyshytte cabin, which is a modern type of cabin. The cabin has 4 bedrooms and an additional living room with a sofa bed, with space for a total of 14 people. The cabin is recommended for a maximum of 10 people. Living room with a panoramic view and fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen. Great bathroom with waterfall shower and a sauna, as well as an additional toilet. Dogs are welcome in the cabin. There are only 6 seats around the dining table. BEDROOMS: Bedroom 1: Double bed 160cm Bedroom 2: Double bed 160cm Bedroom 3: 4 single beds 75cm Bedroom 4: 4 single beds 75cm Bedroom 3 og 4 is in a loft without standing height. There is a sofa bed for 2 people in the living room in the loft. The beds in bedroom 3 and 4 can be placed on top of each other, so that 2 beds become a single bed. Or they can be placed next to each other with the option of double beds or single beds.

Blefjell is a wonderful hiking area all year round and has very varied nature, rich wildlife, and many good fishing lakes. Nice and easy-going mountain area which is only 1.5 hours' drive from Oslo. Store Ble is the highest area on Blefjell which stretches from Blenuten (1213 meters) in the north to Sigfridsfjell (1194 meters) in the south and includes all the highest peaks on Blefjell. The trip to the highest peak (Bletoppen 1342 meters) can be taken directly from the cabin.
