Olavstøga is a two-story timber house from 1840. We have spent half a year renovating the entire house interior. Here you will find all modern facilities, but everything is in an old style, so you get a good old-fashioned atmosphere in this old, venerable house. Outside, there is a large veranda with dining area. Beautiful views of the lake Vangsmjøsa and the mountains around - here you can find peace! Olavstøga is one of three residential houses on the farm. We have dairy cows in a barn about 500 meters from the yard, and in the summer we have pigs. The farm is located in the center of Vang. 1 km to Coop Prix, cottage and interior shop, sauna, bathing area, municipal activity park, and library. 2.5 km to a cafe and gas station. 20 minutes to Tyinkrysset Mountain Lodge with local food serving. The house consists of an entrance, kitchen, two living rooms, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. The bedrooms have 1 double bed, and 1 double bed with a single bed next to it (suitable for a couple, or three children and teenagers). Everything is done in an old style, so here you will find warm colors, a wood stove, home-forged nails in the wall, wooden floors, crocheted curtains, etc. You will have everything you need for a comfortable stay: dishwasher, stove, coffee maker, refrigerator, freezer, wifi, shower, washing machine, toilet and sink.

We started welcoming guests i 2017, and all our guests, both at the farm and at the moutain farm, are very pleased with their visit. We are milk farmers, have two boys and love the good life that the mountains and the norwegian traditions offer. We like hiking, skiing, fishing, hunting and all other experiences the natures offers. We care for our guests, and we do everything we can to make you happy and make sure you have a good time at our farm. A warm welcome!

Our farm is located just off the Kings Road crossing the mountain Filefjell, a popular and spectacular hiking trail. Vang in Valdres is perfect when you love nature and activities. In winter, you can choose between kilometers of ski slopes, ski resorts and summit hikes. In summer there are hiking trails, mountain hikes, bike paths and paths. All year round, there are a number of activity providers in the area. Valdres also offers a varied and rich cultural and festival offer. Here you will find everything from child-friendly local trips to demanding summit trips. We are close to Filefjell, the Kings Road, Beitostølen, Jotunheimen and Fagernes.
