Our cabin in Hodlekve is the perfect place from which to explore the Sognefjord region. Mountains and fjord, skiing and hiking or just chilling in the cabin or on the terrace with a lovely view of the Sogndal Valley- the choice is yours! Our cabin has 3 bedrooms with comfortable double beds. We offer bed linen and towels included so you only have to bring yourself and your stuff. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, you only need to bring groceries. The basics are already there(salt, spices, sugar, flour ++)- if you empty anything we hope you replace it but use what you need:) There is a fridge with a freezer, a stove and an oven, a microwave, a Nespresso machine and a carbonator in the kitchen. The tiled bathroom has a rainshower and is a comfy place to get ready for the day- toiletpaper, soaps and shampoo are included. In the cabin you will find information about the cabin, suggestions for day trips and a hiking map of the area if you want to explore the mountains. In the living room we have a large sofa and comfortable chairs and an 80" flat screen TV with Netflix, HBO, TV2 Play, Disney++ included. In the upstairs bedroom we have a flat screen TV with a Nintendo so there is a place for the kids to both watch TV and play video games. Upstairs we also have an extra living room space where you can retire with a book or play board games with the kids. The patio offers a lovely view and comfortable chairs for your morning coffee. We have a fire pan in the patio where you can light a fire if you want, you can use it for cooking, making coffee or just grilling your marshmallows(bring fire wood). We must also mention our bird- we feed the birds and there is a plethora of birds outside the dining table so we just love watching them. You have the place all to yourselves while you are here, hope you enjoy your stay in Olahagen:)

The Hodlekve skicenter with five skilifts is just a three minute drive away. You can ski in several km of prepared tracks with lights in the evening. You can explore the mountains- Fagereggi, Fjærlandssete, Høgehaug, Blåfjellet, Voggebreen are popular by mountain skis. In Dalalåven(Hodlekve) you can get food/drink yearrround. In summer they offer bicycle rental, pump track, frisbee golf and plenty of hiking opportunities. In summer you can also just take a walk or bikeride near Dalavatnet or hike up to a viewpoint. The Anestølen goat farm is a must with the kids. We highly recommend testing the Viking experience- swimming in the fjord. Include a visit to a fjord sauna and you will feel completely rejuvenated after! Our favorite is the sauna in Fjærland- but they have saunas also in Sogndal, Luster, Balestrand, Flåm++ Our fave beach in the summer is Eidet. If you go hiking in the mountains- there is nothing like a swim in one of the mountain lakes. So refreshing! The kids also like visiting the folk museum in Kaupanger- dei Heibergske samlingar. The glacier museums in Fjærland and Jostedalen are also worth visiting. A glacier hike in Nigardsbreen is highly recommended. Not to mention the wonderful stave churches we have- our fave is the Urnes stave church- but Kaupanger and Borgund are also worth seing. The smell of tar and the guided tour takes you back in time- its hard to believe these wooden structures have survived a thousand years. For groceries and shopping head to Fjøra. We recommend lovely day/half day trips in our folder in the cabin: Fjærland, Balestrand, Solvorn, Jølster, Jotunheimen national park, Lærdal, Flåm, Aurland and Luster.
