The ideal Private Cozy Hillside Home. This charming three-bedroom home is located on a hillside with stunning mountain views. Please be aware that there is a steep driveway to access the property. The wooden Fraemohs style home features an open plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area with a large, secure fireplace for the winter months. Plenty of seating is available, along with a Freeview TV and Chromecast to keep you entertained during your stay. Two of the bedrooms are located upstairs, one with a double bed and the other with two singles. Downstairs, there are two more bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with three singles. Outside, the deck is perfect for enjoying warm summer nights, and the garden is terraced behind the home.

Neighbourhood information

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
