Property information

This home is situated in a fantastic location within a short walk to the Thermal Pools and shops as well as being immediately beside Brooke Dawson Park and the Dog Stream Reserve. The home is also unique in that it has three bathrooms and toilets ensuring all guests are catered for. All living areas are located on the one level. Bedroom one has a queen bed with a single bunk set. Bedroom two has a queen bed. Bedroom three has a queen bed with trundler bed underneath along with an ensuite and then downstairs there is the fourth bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite. There is also a fold-out couch in the lounge so the home is capable of sleeping up to 13 people if necessary. Electric blankets are provided on all beds apart from the bunks. The log fire with fire guard in the lounge keeps things nice and warm while you enjoy the Sky TV (Basic Channels Only). With a cot and high chair available as well, there is little the home owners haven't been able to provide for you. You will be very hard pressed to look past this home for quality, location and price. Please note pets are welcome at this property, however the section is not fully fenced.

Neighbourhood information

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
